MapleStory : Idle RPG runs on AFKPal — around the clock
Nexon's MapleStory : Idle RPG is MapleStory as an idle game. Your character battles and grows automatically, you collect Companions, learn boss patterns in Growth Dungeons and test your build in the PVP Arena. Nexon made it with Able Games and launched it worldwide for Android and iOS on 6 November 2025. A Windows PC version followed on 23 July 2026.

Pick the AFKPal region that matches where you play
AFKPal runs cloud phones in Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, the United States, Germany and Brazil. You choose the region when you start your phone.
MapleStory : Idle RPG is split by region. Nexon says each region runs its own group of servers, players can't cross regions, and the server list you see depends on your login region. So start your cloud phone in the AFKPal region closest to where you already play:

Before you leave the phone running, check on the title screen that your server and character are there. For reference, Nexon's FAQ lists these server groups by server time: Aria and Aquila (UTC+8), Bera (UTC−8), Luna (UTC+1) and Skania (UTC+9). Daily resets happen at midnight server time.
We don't suggest AFKPal's Japan region for this game: Nexon's launch announcement listed Japan among the countries the global release did not cover.
Offline rewards vs. a 24/7 cloud phone
To be honest up front: MapleStory : Idle RPG already pays you while you're away. Since the 12 February 2026 update, offline rewards build up for up to 24 hours, and Nexon's Maple Special Membership adds 12 more. You claim them from the popup when you log in, or from Mailbox → Offline Reward. If you open the game once a day, that may be all you need.
A cloud phone is for players who want the game itself running all the time:
- Auto hunt stays live. With the game open, your character keeps hunting in real time instead of filling a capped offline pool. Nexon says progression continues in the background even in Sleep Mode.
- No cap to hit. Miss a day or travel, and the game is still running when you come back.
- Your main phone stays free. Closing the AFKPal viewer does not close the cloud phone. No battery drain or heat on your device.
- Check in from anywhere. Reconnect from iOS, Android or a modern browser to claim, upgrade and spend.
- Your setup persists. The game, account, settings and character stay on your dedicated cloud phone between sessions.
- Official Google Play install. Use Nexon's listing, not an APK mirror.
How to set up MapleStory : Idle RPG on AFKPal
- Create or sign in to your AFKPal account and start a cloud phone in the region from the table above.
- Open the cloud phone from the AFKPal app or the web dashboard.
- Open Google Play, search for MapleStory : Idle RPG, and check the package:
com.nexon.ma(NEXON Company). MapleStory M is a different game. - Install it, download the game data, choose your server on the title screen and sign in.
- Link your account under Settings → Account → Link Account (Nexon, Google, Apple or Facebook). Nexon says guest accounts are tied to the device and their data can't be recovered.
- Go to a hunting ground your character clears comfortably and tap FULL AUTO.
- Close the AFKPal viewer. Don't power off or restart the cloud phone — the game keeps running there.
- Play on one device at a time. Nexon doesn't support logging in from several clients at once, so check in through the AFKPal viewer instead of opening the game on your own phone or the PC version.
A practical 24/7 routine
Leave your character on a stage it farms without dying. A slightly easier spot that runs all night usually beats a harder one that stalls. If you use Auto Dismantle, set its conditions (combat power or equipment rank) carefully — Nexon can't restore gear dismantled by mistake.
Save the content that needs you for when you're watching: Growth Dungeons (now with Quick Clear All), the Zakum, Horntail and Pink Bean Boss Raids (Party Mode for up to four players, or Solo Mode), the World Boss and the Arena. Nexon notes that auto hunt stops when you turn it off or enter content that doesn't allow it. Before you disconnect, go back to your hunting ground and check that FULL AUTO is on.
Nexon runs regular update maintenance. Afterwards, open the viewer, update from Google Play if asked, log back in and turn FULL AUTO on again. Nexon says offline rewards for the maintenance window are calculated from your last login.

Can I run more than one MapleStory : Idle RPG account?
Each AFKPal plan is one cloud phone. One Nexon account can hold one character per server, but you can't be logged in on several clients at once — so two characters running at the same time means two accounts on two phones. Check Nexon's terms on multiple accounts first.

- Age rating: in countries that use PEGI, Google Play's rating moves from PEGI 7 to PEGI 16 during October 2026. Google accounts registered as under 16 may be unable to install or update the game.
